Broncos nip Great Bend in rainy affair

EL DORADO – Hunter Larson tossed a five-inning one-hitter to help El Dorado nip Great Bend 2-1 Thursday night in a rain-shortened game at McDonald Stadium.

It was the final home game of the season for the Broncos, who wound up wining seven of their last nine games at McDonald Stadium.
El Dorado struck for its two runs in the first. Jaret Koin singled and Aaron Mack with one out.
After Kyle Barfield flied out, Tanner Schuetz singled in Koin and Mack.
The Broncos head to Haysville on Friday for the start of a three-game series.
