EL DORADO – Butler Electric Cooperative will officially open the new 9,700+ square foot company headquarters on Friday in El Dorado. The new facility was built on the same lot as the old office, which is now being used for warehousing.
The organization broke ground on the facility in September 2016, and completely modernized their operations and the look of their building. Included in the facade is their new logo emblazoned into the building and new office and meeting space for their staff.
At the September 2016 groundbreaking, CEO Dale Short said building a new office space became necessary after the company’s current office, built in the 1950’s developed foundation issues.
“We are very excited about the new building,” Short said at the time. “Our Co-op continues to see growth and the new office building will allow us more room for that growth in the coming years.”
The grand opening will feature a lunch between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with a ribbon cutting promptly at noon.
