Circle dominant in El Dorado triangular

EL DORADO – It was a tough night for the El Dorado Lady Wildcats as they hosted their first home triangular of the year. The home team would lose to both Circle and Augusta in a cross-county rivalry match, after getting off to a great start in both tournament play, and regular season action last week.

The Lady Wildcats fell to Augusta in the first match of the triangular 2-0, then played Circle in the nightcap. The Lady Thunderbirds edged El Dorado in the first set 25-22, then the Lady Cats would run out of steam in the final set of the night, falling 25-13.

In the middle match, Circle blanked Augusta 2-0 winning the first set 25-15, and then blowing past the Lady Orioles in the final set 25-10.

El Dorado and Circle will have the weekend off from varsity play, while junior varsity teams will travel to Winfield for a tournament on Saturday.
