Plans announced for El Dorado Chamber banquet

EL DORADO – The El Dorado Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for their 97th annual membership banquet, to be held February 1st at the Civic Center. The night will include dinner, a silent auction, networking, and awards.

The guest speaker will be Erik Pedersen of Network Kansas.

“Erik began his career in 1990, with a technology startup company in Wichita, KS. In 1997, Erik and a business partner started a successful manufactured housing dealership where they later opened a second location.” the Chamber noted in a release. “Eventually Erik and his partner, sold the business to the largest mobile home manufacturer in the country, Champion Enterprises. In May, 2005, Eric and his business partner, Steve Radley, were hired by the State of Kansas to start NetWork Kansas. As Vice President of Entrepreneurship for NetWork Kansas, Erik has had a hand in helping over 59 E-Communities provide over $11.5M in matching loans and grants to over 400 businesses, that have created or retained over 730 full-time jobs and 850 part-time jobs.”
