WICHITA – USD 490 elementary students attended School House Rocks with the Shocks on December 1.
Grades two through five from Lincoln, grades three through five from Grandview, and grades four and five from Skelly were able to attend.
School House Rocks with the Shocks is an annual event that invites Wichita area schools to watch a WSU women’s basketball game at Koch Arena.
This year, Grandview students lead the national anthem before the game began.
Skelly student Easton Perkins was chosen as the ball boy, which gave him a court-side seat during the game.
Third through fifth grade students were provided with a math packet as part of the program that help students use the experience to strengthen their math skills.
